| Hed Shop boys are quickly becoming one of Charleston's favorite cover bands. They play classic rock with a little 80's for the ladies. Hed Shop cover songs with extreme attention to detail. At times you can close your eyes and you would almost swear you were hearing the original artists live. All members are excellent players so getting it right comes very easily. Bryn Wilson-lead guitar /bkg.vocals is a veteran of the Charleston music scene. He owned two music stores in Mt. Pleasant. He has played with Eddie Bush,Marc Collins,Diesel Brothers & Ric Cribb in the "Joy Of Learning". He has played with almost every 80's metal band ever formed. You remember him from "Poison",don't you? Frank Royster-lead vocals/guitar has played with the "Uncertain-T's","Fire Apes, the "Pansies", Eddie Bush, Jeannie Wiggins & Col. Angus. He is a "stay at home dad", and has two children. At night he brings the rock to the people. Oh yeah, did I mention that he is a "BEATLES FREAK"!!! He named his son McCartney!! Frank gives guitar lessons and host 'Open Mic Nite' @ the Wolftrack; every Wednesday. Frank also has a solo career. His 1st solo disc is available online @ all digital sites as well as local stores in Charleston. The disc is entitled: "Thru The Years". Julian Volpe- bass & vocals is currently in the Fire Apes. He is a Charleston rocker who is well known for his melodic approach to the bass. He has been in countless groups throughout the years. He's the best!! Tommy Capo-drums & vocals is also a veteran to the Charleston music scene. He also plays with the Oasis Band with his wife and singer; Candy. He has played with the Carolina Band, Charleston Express, and for over 10 years with Charlestons own, the Hot Pepper Band, has also played with country artist Mel Daniels and John Anderson. Tommy is the most versatile of drummers, he can play it all. During the day he works at Clayton Homes in Moncks Corner,NEED A HOME??? He has four children, Thomas, Ashlee, Ryan, and Brooke, Tommy loves his family and his Gamecocks. Julian and Frank started playing w/ Tommy over 20 years ago in their first band, we are glad to have him aboard. The band has been together since February 2003.They started practicing at "Purple Music". Hence the name HED SHOP BOYS. The common thread was that they all liked 70's hard rock. They are all big Kiss & AC/DC fans. After picking their favorite tunes they started working out the kinks. After only 3 weeks together,they played their first show at "Buffalo South" on James Island. And the rest as they say is "History"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
